Subject :  And those with hearing loss problems, struggle on, and on

Message Board seems a little slow, these days, causing me to wonder, a bit. Maybe, national government problems' concerns are over shadowing such things as hearing aids, cost of, go back appointments - and the like - especially for families with one or more children with hearing loss problems. I fall into these concerns, also.

Thought I had my hearing loss aided and nailed down for my life time; with AH; but, not so, it seems. There ADROs don't work for my hearing loss; audiograms have an expiration date, now; ear impressions are harder to acquire; go back appointmens ($$$) are more insisted up on, now; and, the over all cost of hearing aids - not very many hohers can afford the first pair, let alone, the second pair - if allowed to purchase the second(spare of pairs), that is. I find, it's still "your come into my door and I will to supply you with what I sell", otherwise, I cannot help you. Next.

My great, nearly seven years of profound happeness' hearing experience with AH Freedom Vtec CICs has now come to a close - for my call to AH's customoer service Rep., the other day -- asking him to connect me with Henry Smith (one more time); can't do that, he told me, I'm customer's contact, now -I speak for Henry. So in our continued phone conversation -- no more repair work AH can do, for me - for/on my CICs - not even the CIC's pull cords - for fear that the shell might break. So, I said, goodbye, hung up the phone; and, sat and thought a bit, about "what to do, now". OK, OK, what is to be, is to be - for we hohers haven't been and never will be in control when it comes to purchasing hearing aids - The System is just too embedded in the ways it was established, long, long ago; and, adding more and more rules and regulations - put forth, for the hohers, as time continues on. Not a "pity party", for me -- just simply, the way it is.

So, for now, I'll use a little spoon instrument (that I found, somewhere), to gently lift my CICs out of my ears (no pull cords there, anymore); go on with self-cleaning with my wonderful jodi-vac hearing aid vacuum cleaner; and use (whatever I have been using) to keep the sound port tubing, in place) until these CICs quit working, entirely.

Then, I'll pray to Almighty God, as to what to do, next. I've been pushed into a corner, before; and, He has helped me out. Fath in God, is the name of my "game". Yeah.
