Subject :  Christms Gifts to give HOHers (2010), maybe not thought of
posted by kip on Tue Nov 30, 2010 8:59 am
Hi all,
Well, looks like most of us HOHers made it through Gobble, Gobble - Turkey Day; now, on to "Deck the Halls" of Christmas gift giving.
These are some of the helpful articles I have bought, through the years that have proved helpful to me in taking care of my own hearing aids, even though "back to the fitter" is sometimes needed. I found all of these articles by searching the Internet. I found great prices and people wanting to help me want to come back and order from their companies, again.

HA Batteries -- I have found IiCellTech batteries great quality, a three year expiration date; and, as for me, I buy a year's supply each time, so that I will never be without a fresh battery. Many other brands, available, so do your homework

Otoscope - very useful for locating debrs in and around HAs, especially for looking into the microphone and receiver ends in ITC and CIC HAs.

A vacuum cleaner, made especially for HAs - Jodi-vac --I only list the brand name, because it is the only personal hearing aid vacuum cleaner for HA users, as well as professionals, that I was able to find before purchasing. Instructions come with the unit; and, also a toll-free 1-800 number for added information, if needed.

Jar of Drying Beads -- to be used as a night time bed for HAs to keep moisture at bay; and, also an easy place to store, night time, until nest day of wearing starts.

Of course, by using Google Search strip, many websites are at your finger tips - for other helpful and useful items just right for your HOH family member(s) and/or friend(s).

I have only listed the ones that I first purchased, tried out; and, now, couldn't and wouldn't be without.
Happy Shopping, kip
