Subject :  help with HA
posted by JiCo on Thu Sep 23, 2010 6:42 pm
I have read on this site several times that if you will post your latest audiology exam some on here can help direct me to a good HA. I am completely deaf in my left ear due to a brain tumor. My hearing has gotten progressively worse in my right ear and I need some new HA's. I went to the VA today and they will fit me with whatever they are dispensing now but I am leery about what that might be. I have been doing my research on this site and others about what is available and want to have something that has several programs to allow me some ability to hear in noisy environments. So here is my test today R ear only .25k 10 .5k 20 .75k 35 1k 20 1.5k 55 2k 55 3k 55 4k 50 6k 45 8k 50. What would be a good cros HA for me? Any suggestions? I am thinking that I may have to pony up some cash and buy something after I try what the VA issues me a set because my hearing is so bad now that I have to wear HA's all the time. Thanks for your help in advance.
