Subject :  Starkey Destiny 1200

Today is my 2nd of Hell. I was fine in the office until I stepped out into the world. I'm starting to feel schizophrenic. The first problem I have is that I can't adapt to surround sound. I can only deal with stereo sound, for listening to music or the TV. The other problem I'm thinking is related to air pressure? I'm not sure, I'm trying to identify why changes are occuring within the aid, and the most problem is that it constantly changes, which I have no control over. I wish it would stay the same as my other aid, I've had for my entire life, that amplified sound. These are digital, as far as what does that mean for me? I've gone crazy today, and since I can't afford aids, will find myself waiting another five years before I can get approved for another kind of aids through Starkey. I am thankful for their Hear Now program, but these aids are turning on and off, sounds start out loud and decrease, it doesn't know what sounds to filter out and which ones to keep, it seems to just bounce from side to side, about every ten seconds, I feel like a hurricane being blown around. Very stressful!
