Subject : Are open fit appropriate for me posted by soundtrack on Thu Apr 1, 2010 8:37 am |
| I am doing a trial of some Bernafon Verites at this time which are receiver in the ear aids. I am using the tulip tip with these aids. I'm wondering if with my loss, regular open fit aids would still be an option for me because I might like the sound of those better. Could someone please advise. Question two is, if I need the receiver in the ear aids, what tip do I need. I think the tulip tip is occluding, especially in combination with the receiver in the ear piece. Is there another tip I could use given my loss? I have listed my hearing audiogram below. 250 R-10 L-10 500 R-10 L-10 750 R-65 L-55 1000 R-65 L-60 2000 R-60 L-50 4000 R-45 L-35 8000 R-55 L-35 |
